Will Online Services Backup EVERYTHING?

,
Online backup services can easily backup everything on your computer's internal hard drive.
Nonetheless, when you sign up for an online service I recommend only choosing one that allows for unlimited data storage. Your requirements for storage capacity will without a
doubt be growing over time.
If you don't and you choose one of the pay by the gigabyte kind, you must monitor the size of your data requirements or the service could cost you a fortune.
As the data on your computer continues to increase, as always is the case if you are on the internet, you will eventually see your storage fees increase and you may be forced to move your data to an unlimited service to save money.

The 4 main things most online services will automatically backup for you are:
1. Documents and Settings Folder
2. Pictures
3. Music
4. Email

Your programs and applications won't be backed up by default. However, most online backup services will allow you to add them manually after you go through your initial setup.
If you don't absolutely need to though, I recommend against backing us programs because it will slow down your daily backup drastically.

Furthermore, backing up your actual programs won't really help you all that much. Since your Documents and Settings folder is getting backed up automatically, the application settings will all be saved and you will be ok.

If something happens to your existing system and you to lose your programs, you are still going to have to go in and reinstall each yourself anyway.
