Mac Recovery Solution to System Crash After Installing Photoshop CS2

Sometimes, some applications are not throughly tested for backward testing that is for compatibility with the previous versions. An instance of such compatibility problem arises when a new version of Photoshop CS2 is installed on a Mac OS X system with versions below 10.4.7. The situation fires a no
of error messages leading to the loss or inaccessibility of data and to recover back your valuable data, Mac recovery comes into play.




Scenario:



On your Mac system, you just downloaded and installed a new version of Photoshop CS2. Furthermore, if the file system is not repaired, it also leads to complex corruptions to the hard disks.



Resolution:



· Try to go to the following directories and delete either the 'legal' or 'legal.localized' folder:

-- Applications/Adobe Photoshop CS2/

-- [Username]/Documents/Adobe Help Center/





Run the Disk Utility in order to repair any file system error that has already occurred. Follow the following steps:

1. Insert the Mac OS system disk. Hold the key 'C' and restart the computer,.



2. After the computer restarts, select the language you prefer and choose the Disk Utility from the Installer menu.



3. Then, choose the tab named First Aid.



4. Choose the Mac OS X disk that carries the operating system in it, that is the one on the left side.



5. Click on the option 'Repair Disk', which is meant for finding and repairing any Illegal names issue.



· If after following the above measures, the problem still persists, then try to restore the data from the latest backup. In case, if the backup is not available, then, try any trusted Mac recovery software to retrieve your lost or inaccessible data back from the troubled media.



The third-party Mac disk recovery software are safe and don't mean any harm to the original data or to the media. Moreover, these Mac data recovery utilities are very much flexible in their usage and you can use them almost effortlessly.
